Freestyle World Championship results, brought to you by me, from Vancouver, directly after the contest. Best trick and 360 spinoff are tomorrow, so we'll have to wait for those.

Oh yeah, excuse the spellings on just about all the names, I did my best when taking them down but...yeah. Sorry to anyone who's name I mispelled.

Am
6. Tyrell Richard (Canada)
5. Ben Farquhar (US)
4. Brandon Ross (US)
3. Jon Bunn (US)
2. Christian Opperman (US)
1. Maxe Jeblick (Germany)

Maxe had an AMAZING run. Seriously, even the pros thought he should have competed with them instead of us. Stuff like TS Rail pivots to 540 double flips out...all on lock. Absolutely crazy. Good stuff. All in all, I'm very happy I got second *grins* I'll get my two runs uploaded ASAP if people want to see that (in addition to all the Pros' runs as well).

Masters

4. Bob Staton
3. -
2. -
1. Gary Holl

I unfortunately missed the names of the two people in the middle of the Masters. Congrats to Sk8kings' own Gary for rocking it with the old people *grins* Just playing with you Gary ;)

Pro

8. Starsky Kleinhaus (Germany)
7. Christian Heinz (Germany)
6. Rene Shugoto (Brazil)
5. Gunter Monkylus (Germany)
4. Lynn Cooper (US)
3. Per Kangaru (Brazil)
2. Lillis (Sweden)
1. Kevin Harris (Canada)

Brilliant runs from all the pros. A personal highlight for me was Per's one handed rail handstand varial railflip out - landed it in both of his runs, first try. Jaw dropping.

I'll get the runs uploaded when I get back home.

Christian -- Thanks for taking the time to update us here and Congrats to you, Gary Holl and Jon Bunn for making the trek and representing. Looking forward to some pics and video (sounds like you have some)!

Awesome job guys! Hello to all our friends near and far!

PS -- Wish Richy and I could have gone but we are running ragged with slalom racing season in full swing. Just touched down from Ohio and will be off again for Colorado before we know it.

PSS -- We're planning a Jam at ASR September -- Sunday (09.07) on the boardwalk in the sunshine -- same as last time. Details coming soon!

Congratulations to Christian, Jon, and Gary for their top placings! Way to represent, guys! I'm looking forward to hearing more details about the competition and the cookout at Kevin's.

The contest was excellent, there were riders from Brazil, Canada, USA, Germany & Sweden. The skating was unbelievable and I am proud to have been associated with this event and the competitors that traveled to Vancouver!

Rob + Kathy and the rest of the crew did an execellent job organizing the event on Saturday and Keving and Audry were gracious hosts on Sunday.

I ended up beating Kevin by ONE 360 in the 360 Contest making me the New 360 World Champion!
