Time for another Jam -- by popular demand! It's ASR Show weekend and lots of people will be in town for the show.

(Flyer pics - from top left - Keith Butterfield, Kirby Cox, Kevin Harris & Richy Carrasco -- action shots from the Sept 2008 ASR Jam)

What: Freestyle SK8 Jam
When: Sunday, Jan 25, 2009 12 Noon
Where: San Diego Downtown Embarcadero (waterfront boardwalk)

Show ends on Saturday so Sunday is a free day. Don't go home early -- stay and skate with us.

Here's a link to google maps with the satellite view -- Google Satellite view

This one has directions using the Convention Center (ASR Show locale) as a point of reference: Directions from Convention Center

It won't be hard to find us once you are in the right vicinity. It's possible to reach on your skate from the Convention Center area if you don't have a car. Drive or carpool if you can is my recommendation.

I'll be at the session at the Embarcadero. I already booked my flight to spend a week out in California around that time. Jenna and I are just trying to figure out a way into the ASR. I didn't realize it was an industry-only thing.

We're down the street and no rain. It's cool with clouds but patches of blue. They are calling for showers tonight but day should be good for skating. Come on down!

Wow -- Jam was a really good time. Thanks to everyone who came out to share the day with us. Some out of town visitors included -- east coasters, Terry & Jenna Synnott, Wentzl Ruml, Joyce Wheldrake from Canada, the Trujillo Clan all the way from Vegas and many more friends.

Here's a pic of some of the group -

Some of the "Jam Gang" (Primo D, Keith B, Diane D, Adam C, Daniel T, Pam Z, Terry S, Richy C, Maria C, Boomer D, Baby B, Styler D, Kirby C, Jeff, Marcus R and friend)

Some people had to leave early but still showed up to skate for a bit . . .

Wow - brings back memories of this fun day last year. Was there an ASR yet this year--didn't hear about it but we would love to go if it's an annual event.
