SK8KINGS at Strawberry Festival --

We're rounding up the team and heading to Garden Grove to skate in the parade this weekend - Saturday May 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

The line-up includes the original Flying Carrasco Brothers - Rene', David & Richy -- along with some of our So Cal team riders Lynn Kramer, Justin Collins, Keith Butterfield -- and the newest addition to our team Kilian Martin!

Parade starts at 10 a.m. so if you're local -- come out and cheer us on!

Parade route -- begins at Chapman Ave. and 9th Street - turns onto Euclid Ave. and ends on Main Street in Garden Grove.

It was an honor to do a SK8KINGS demo with the Flying Carrasco Brothers -
together once again.....@ The 2009 Garden Grove Strawberry Festival -our Hometown !

And it was my pleasure to announce the demo
with champion skaters Keith Butterfield, Killian Martin,
and the fastest Woman Skateboarder in the World -
Lynn Kramer !

Yes, it felt really cool to tell the press, and Garden Grove parade watchers in
attendance - the fact that I myself, started skateboarding right here -
in Garden Grove, Ca. in 1959 - - -
- - -that makes it 50 YEARS AGO -this being 2009 !!! -WOW !!!

The parade was super fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy it -- those who were in it and those who were watching. Thanks to everyone involved.

We have a ton of pics from several sources as you mentioned and will be uploading a slide show as soon as we can. Right now, gotta finish the CW deadline so have to keep the nose to the grindstone till then.
