Had our first Jam of 2005 -- great time as usual!

Our vision of having Jams to bring people together, improve the talent pool, and encouraging the new young skaters seems to be working. Great turnout today and lots of great skating -- there was action everywhere you looked. It's always exciting to see who will show up and today was no exception. Here's some of the group . . .

The Desiderios were on hand with their killer sound system, Per Welinder and his two sons, Ed Economy with three long boards, Bob Staton & crew, Carrasco Brothers, John Pope, Brad Jackman, MSK, Mike Heller, Trujillo clan, Mike Mullen, Dan Matsumoto, Fish, Aaron Lasnover, Al Garcia & crew, Heidi Lemmon, Steve Evans, Mike Maysey, Brent Kosick, Chris Chaput, SumNotSoDumSurfer, our BMX Bros (who are always welcome) -- other notable appearances were made by Christian Hosoi, Aaron Murray, Rune Glifberg -- along with a whole bunch of new youngsters who were stoked to be joining in.

We'll be doing another one soon so hope to see you there!

Since our forum was down -- I've copied some posts from other message boards. Here's the first:

WOW! I'm STOKED to have been a part of the jam today, at Edison Park. Much thanks to the Carrasco family, as always for making everyone feel welcome and providing a positive vibe today. Maria & Richie, thanks for my freestyle wheels... you both rock!

Was great to see such a huge turn-out, too. Having the old tunes on the sound system was a welcome feature, too. Props to Primo for that. Everyone showed off some killer talent today. So many good skaters in attendance. Looking very forward to the next event. What a great way to end a weekend with stellar weather.

Looked like a killer Jam session you had.
The weather here is more suitable for snowboarding than skating these days, that's why we had a day trip session with floodlight.

I wish I lived in CA. during the winter time.....I am a little bit jealous today.

Now that's a GREAT turn out! The way it should be...all ages and skills.

I really need to make it down to one of the HB or EP Jams...I've been so busy at work and now I have to go to Cork Ireland on business for one week.

Post more picks and video if you have it!
