We're kicking it into gear for 2006 and heading to the City by The Bay to hang with the locals. The coolest skate shop in the Bay Area -- Purple Skunk -- is hosting an in store gathering with SK8KINGS Pro Team Riders Richy Carrasco & Gary Holl along with our newest Am Team member Jon Bunn. Join us at 10:30 a.m. at Purple Skunk for free continental breakfast and a killer prize raffle before we head off to Golden Gate Park for some skate jam action at noon. We'll be running a slalom course on Conservatory Drive West inside the park and having an open freestyle jam session from noon till 3pm. Plenty of room to skate, lots of cool people and hopefully sunshine! Bring your skate gear and jam with us! It's President's Weekend so Monday is an official holiday! If you live in the area -- don't miss it! All the details are here: SK8 JAM INFOIf you are coming -- post your RSVP here.

Hey All, Luck has it, I'll be in SFO this wknd. Although I currently live in LA, I'm East Coast. My bro in NJ clued me in on this gig. I'm bringing my VMG tall boy. Looking forward to meeting you all! And for those of yous who are staying in the city for the wknd, you might want to check out NYC's own Adam Deitch Project...in town for an exclusive appearence. Serious music...serious fun-- a great way to honor your dead presidents! details below: The Adam Deitch Project is making our first trip to the west coast and we need your help spreading the word! So, tell all your friends in San Francisco to go check out Deitch and the boys. You can name drop if you need to (Talib, Scofield, G-Unit- you know…), but let’em know we’re gonna be bringing the heat! Here is all the show info: Friday and Saturday February 17+18, 2006 The Boom Boom Room 11601 Fillmore St. (at Geary) San Francisco, CA www.boomboomblues.com10:00 PM $10 DJ Zeph opens Thanks for the support! SK8KINGS are in San Francisco. Having a great time and it is COLD up here. Have been getting some rain in the city but the weather report for Sunday says slight chance of rain in the early morning but should clear after that. We should be skating so be sure to come out!
There is a ton of schwag for the raffle stockpiled at Purple Skunk and Lizzie is issuing Skunk Bucks – offering a 10% discount on store purchase through March 15. You have to be there tomorrow to get in on this. Come have breakfast with us and get in on all the festivities!

Our friends at Silverfish wanted a report on the great time we had in San Fran hanging with Lizzie & the Skunks -- so while we were traveling to Texas for the Sizzler -- managed to crank out some words and gather some pics to send on over. I've posted the same write up on our Jam Info page here: SCENE REPORT BTW -- Texas was a blast but that's a story of it's own and I'll write it soon! Stay tuned. Have a ton of great pics of both events which I'll put into a gallery and post up ASAP. Great turnout, great action, great time!!!!!

Looking forward to one of your jams this summer. Jenna and I are thinking about making a trip out there and we'd like to schedule it around one of the sessions in Venice, Huntington or San Diego.
Do you have any planned for the summer yet? Or is that too far down the road?
Terry

Hi Terry -- Great to hear from you. Would be great to see you and Jenna in town. We'll likely have at least one or two jams this summer (more if possible). No dates yet but I'll keep you in the loop. If you want to PM me with any dates you are looking at to be in town -- we can check right away to see if there is a major conflict.
We're always up for working with the out of towners to schedule around visits if possible. We have a pretty active calendar throughout the summer since that's also prime slalom racing season so dates will be slimmer pickins.

Hi, Maria. I hope you and your family are well. Thanks for sharing all the great photos. Looks like it was a great time. I wish I did not live on the opposite end of the country. Please congratulate Richy for me on his recent win, and wish the guys well for me. Trying to get in better shape for filming our next video, so I'm actually hitting the gym to improve my form. The last time I worked out I was 10 lbs lighter . I blame it on my wife's good cooking. The baby is doing well. She's simply amazing. Thanks, Frank
